Our fun filled weekend!

This past weekend was very fun and busy for us. I quit my job at Target to go back to my old job at the nursing home so I would get more hours and not work as late at night. It was very fun and nice to be back there and see all the old staff and patients that I haven't seen in a while.
On Saturday while I was at work Blade took the kids to our friends daughters birthday party at Kangaroo Zoo. The had so much fun. They have talked about it for days and want to go back there.

On Sunday we went to our niece Baylee's 1st birthday party. It was full of family from both sides most we didn't even know. It was a lot of fun and she was so cute (as always) with her cake all over here. She was a very spoiled little girl and got lots of cute things. The kids are so fun to watch with her they love their cousins so much! I'm so happy we get to be apart of the family and enjoy fun times with them!

Wedding day! 9-18-2010

One of the best days of our lives was September 18 2010, the day we legally became married! I was so very nervous for the wedding I wanted everything to be perfect. I spent way too much time stressing over everything looking back now I realize I should have relaxed more and no matter what happened it would be day we always dreamed of! 

The day of the wedding I was very tired I did not sleep at all the night before. My stomach was full of butterflies. Blade didn't know what my dress or hair looked like I was so nervous that he wouldn't like my choice, we also wrote our own vows and with how shy I am the thought of reading them in front of everyone scared me. 

Finally 4:00 p.m. came and it was time to walk down the aisle. Once I saw Blades face and how happy and excited he was all my nerves and butterflies went away. The ceremony went very smooth and was everything I had always dreamed it would be. The kids did great doing their parts in the wedding Kaleb was the ring bear and Raelyn the flower girl. Blade read his vows first and got me choked up so when it came time for me to read mine I cried. It was a very emotional moment. I know a lot of people weren't able to make it our able to hear our vows so I have decided to copy them on to here.

My dearest Blade, I take you to be my husband, my partner, my best friend, my confidant, my soul mate, and the love of my life. 

I feel so honored to call you my husband, you mean so much to me a Kaleb and Raelyn, we are all so truly blessed to have you in our life.  You mean the world to me I look forward to spending the rest of our lives together. I know our love is heaven sent and that we were ment to be a family  always will be. I love you so much! I give you my heart

I promise to always love you as much as I do today. I promise to be there in laughter and in tears, the good times and the bad. I promise to always be faithful. I promise to always speak open and honestly with you. 

I know we will have our hard times but I know our love is strong enough and will continue to grow and we will make it threw anything as long as we are together.

How it all began!

Blade and I met on Halloween night, we had both been invited over to our friends Basia's house for a halloween party. From the moment we laid eyes on each other we both knew there was something special about each other. I am normally very shy but I tried my hardest to make sure I was around him and talking to him. As it got closer to the end of the night Blade got up the nerve to ask me for my number and he wrote it on his hand (or engraved it as I later found out) and when it was time to leave he gave me a big hug and told me to make sure I answered when he called.

A few days later Blade finally called and we went out to lunch together to Mama Chus in orem. I was very shy of course but did better than I expected I would. Blade still says I was way to shy but it was our first date who wouldn't be shy? After that we talked a lot on the phone and went out as often as we could.
Just a few weeks before Christmas Blade told me that he loved me and loved my kids, of course I said it back and we soon started talking about getting married and becoming a family. We took our time and moved in together in January to make sure we would work good together.
Things went great and on March 25 2010  Blade and I made dinner together and we enjoyed dinner and desert with us and the kids. While we were eating our desert Blade started to act weird and the kids kept talking about a  bracelet  for me and I had no idea what was going on. Before I knew it Blade was down on one knee telling me how much he loved me, he was very choked up and had a hard time getting everything out but finally managed a "will you marry me" and of course I yelled a very excited "YES"!
