Moving again! : )

We got the great news today that we got the apartment we wanted in American Fork! We are so excited we went to the place and put the deposit and first months rent down today! We are going to start moving our stuff Thursday and then fully move everything Friday! It's been fun staying with my parents but I can't wait to be back on our own we are all so used to doing our own things in our own ways. I thought the kids would love staying with Grandma and Grandpa but they can't wait to be in our own place either! I think by the time next year comes we will be pros at moving! Maybe I should start a moving company.. haha just kidding I am already sick of it!

Moved, to move again, to move again!

This week sure has been a crazy week for our family. We have been selling our house for a while and we really didn't think the lady who bought it would end up buying it. She just wanted a white house and even went to the bank and everything before seeing the inside. The bank process took a long time and we were kinda kept in the dark about what was going on. I had packed a few things mostly decorations that we didn't need, I didn't dare pack anymore because I didn't know when we would move. Then last wednesday I decided to call the bank and find out what was going on, the lady told me that they were just waiting on on paper and we could close on Friday, Blade and I had already made plans to go camping with my family so we told them the next week would work better. Later that night at about 6:00 the lady buying the house shows up in tears and says her landlord says she has to be out by sunday and she had no where else to go. I must say I have too big of a heart, I couldn't leave her and her children homeless, I decided we would close on friday, cancel the camping and try to find a place to live in 2 days.  Well long story short we found out we couldn't get into a place that fast so we moved out on thursday and stored all our stuff in my parents garage and are staying at their house  until we can find an apartment. We were able to get everything moved out and clean on thursday so after the closing on friday we went camping. It was a nice get away after a crazy, stressful few days. We found an apartment we really like in American Fork and should hear tomorrow if we got it or not! If we do get it we will probably move again this weekend, then sometime after January move again for the Air Force. I feel like right now our life is just full of moves.

Day 26: Have you ever thought about giving up on life? If so, when and why?

I don't think there was ever a time I necessarily thought about giving up on life. There has been plenty of times in my life that I have thought that life sucks and is very unfair. I believe that God only gives you as much as you can handle and that is what has kept me going through the hard times. I have been very blessed to have strong and supportive family and friends. I have been through a lot of hard things, and a lot of bad times, but they have always stood by me and always helped me pull through it. Right after the miscarriage I just wanted to lay in bed all the time and cry. My family made sure I had things I had to do to get me out of bed. My friend Haley talked me into going to eat and a movie with her. I think we all need to make sure that when someone is going through a hard time we are there for them and help them heal from it. If someone needs a shoulder to cry on let them, if someone just needs to get out of the house, or talk, be there.

Fathers Day and Brock's 1st Birthday!

The kids got to spend Fathers Day with us this year! Normally they go with Evan (my ex) for fathers day but this year he waited until last minute to ask for them and then called up on Fathers Day morning slurring his words and yelled at Kaleb on the phone. I felt that he was either high or drunk and kept the kids with us. Blade and I were both very happy to have them with us, we both hate when they have to go. I was especially glad that Blade got to have them on Fathers Day he has always been such a good daddy to them and they both say he is their dad and I couldn't agree more. The kids and I made cards and a sign that says "Best dad hands down" with their hand prints on it, we gave them to Blade first thing in the morning and then I made homemade waffles from scratch, Then Kaleb and Blade played his new game my mom gave him. We spent most of the day just relaxing and having fun together.

Our sweet, cute ,little nephew Brock turned 1 on Fathers Day. We went to a Birthday party around 5 for him. He is so cute we all love him so much! It was such a fun little Birthday party and so fun to be with a lot of our family. The kids are so cute with him and so sweet, every time I see them with him it makes me so excited for when the day will come that we have a baby. I can't believe he is already 1 time has flown by so fast. It still feels like yesterday I got to hold him in the hospital!

Strawberry Days Parade

Strawberry Days is a celebration that happens every year in Pleasant Grove (PG). I have been going to the Strawberry Days events since I was just a baby. I love it, every year I look forward to it and it doesn't feel like summer until Strawberry Days begins. This year the only event we were able to attend was the parade. The kids love parades they remember going last year and were very excited to go this year. Blade had to work last year and couldn't go so this year was his first time going with us. We sat on main street in the same area we usually always sat, I always remember my family sitting there when I was little. Something really exciting about this years parade is that we knew people that were going to be in the parade. The kids were so excited to see people they knew in a parade they thought that was really cool.

Vegas Vacation Day 2!

Saturday morning we woke up around 9 am, very sadly it felt like sleeping in to us. We laid around for a little while and then went and got some breakfast. After breakfast we tried to go swimming but the water was very cold so we mainly laid by the pool enjoying the heat and sun. After swimming we showered got ready ( as much as I could our hotel didn't have a hair dryer and I didn't pack mine so I couldn't do my hair) We decided to go check out the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. It was so cool I love it there.We were able to walk around and look at all the memorabilia that is there, It's almost like a museum. As we were walking around the hotel I got to see the Heart and Huntington Tattoo Shop. I was so excited, I used to was watch their show on t.v. I saw a few people I recognized off the show. If we would have had more money we probably would have got tattoos there (maybe next time).  After that we went to the strip and walked, and walked, and walked. We got to check out a lot of new hotels and casinos that we haven't seen before. We Google Mapped what we walked and total just for Saturday we walked around 5 miles. My legs killed, I had blisters on my feet, and had a sunburn, but it was all worth it!

We had such a great time in Vegas and it was so nice to get away and have some one on one time with the hubby! He made this weekend and my birthday so great! I can't wait to start learning to sew with my new sewing machine and start planning our next vacation, our next one will be a family one, or as Kaleb says "kidcation"!

Birthday party and Vegas Vacation day 1!

My Birthday was on Sunday June 12th. Blade and I wanted to get away from home and have a vacation just the two of us. We were going to go camping but thanks to the lovely Utah weather it was too cold to go, we decided instead to go to Vegas! We had my birthday party with my parents on Thursday. It was a lot of fun. The kids and my mom decorated the house and made a cake while I was at work. After work my dad made some BBQ steaks (my favorite). We had presents, cake, and ice cream.

On Friday morning Blade and I headed to Las Vegas! We got a motel just off of the strip for a pretty good price. We arrived at about 5:00 and went to dinner at subway, got ready and headed straight for the strip!
